4. Artificial intelligence and data mining

Sports Media, Inc. reserves all rights in its works against text and data mining and use in artificial intelligence. No content we publish may be used to train, fine-tune, test, or develop any machine-learning or generative AI system, or to generate imitations of our characters or works, without our prior written permission. This applies to all automated collection, including crawling and scraping.

5. Reporting copyright infringement (DMCA notices)

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe material on our Services infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to enforce, send a written notice to our designated agent.

5.1 Designated agent

Copyright Agent
Sports Media, Inc.
274 Mount Harvard Ave., Suite 350
Severance, CO 80550
United States
Email: legal@championmvp.com
Telephone: (970) 394-3339

Please send notices by email to legal@championmvp.com with the subject line "DMCA Notice." The telephone line is answered by an automated assistant and is not a substitute for a written notice.

5.2 What your notice must include

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must be in writing and include substantially the following:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature, as the copyright owner or a person authorized to act for the owner.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed (or, for multiple works, a representative list).
  3. Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it (a direct URL is best).
  4. Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Before sending a notice, please consider whether the use may be a fair use. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), a person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.

5.3 What we do

When we receive a notice that substantially complies with Section 5.2, we will promptly review it and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the material. Because the Services do not host content submitted by users, most material on our Services is our own or licensed content, and we will investigate and resolve any good-faith claim directly. If a notice is incomplete, we will make reasonable efforts to contact the sender.

6. Counter notices

If material you provided to us was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter notice to our designated agent containing, under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3):

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material removed and where it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district where your address is located (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which Sports Media, Inc. may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or that person's agent.

We will forward the counter notice to the original complainant. Unless the complainant notifies us within 10 business days that it has filed a court action seeking to restrain the alleged infringement, we may restore the material not less than 10 and not more than 14 business days after receiving the counter notice.

7. Repeat infringer policy

Consistent with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i), we have adopted and will reasonably implement a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the access of users and account holders who are repeat infringers. The Services currently have no user accounts or user submissions. If that changes, this policy will apply from the first day.

8. Third-party marks and works

Names and logos of sports leagues, teams, events, retailers, and platforms that may be mentioned on our Services belong to their owners. Their mention does not mean those owners sponsor, endorse, or are affiliated with Champion MVP. If you own content or a mark that appears on our Services and you believe it is used improperly, contact legal@championmvp.com and we will address it promptly, whether or not you send a formal DMCA notice.

9. Permissions and licensing
