Cookie Policy
Effective date: November 1, 2026
Plain-language summary
- Our own Site sets no cookies. We store one small value in your browser to remember your cookie choice. That is it.
- No advertising cookies, no third-party analytics cookies, no social media pixels, and no tracking across other websites.
- YouTube is not contacted until you press play on a video. After that, YouTube's own cookies and policies apply to the player.
- Four outside services can set their own storage, and only when you use them: YouTube (after you press play), our booking calendar on the sponsor page, Google reCAPTCHA (when an adult starts filling in our contact form), and Stripe's checkout page.
- You choose. Our cookie pop-up lets you allow embedded media or keep essential only. You can change your choice any time with the "Cookie Settings" link at the bottom of every page.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage (data kept in your browser), pixels (tiny images that report back when they load), and scripts or software kits from other companies. In this policy, "cookies" includes all of these.
First-party technologies are set by the site you are visiting. Third-party technologies are set by another company whose content is loaded on the page.
2. What championmvp.com uses
2.1 Strictly necessary storage on our Site
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration | Set by |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| cmvp-consent-v1 | Browser local storage value | Remembers your cookie choice ("embedded media allowed" or "essential only") and when you made it, so the pop-up does not reappear on every page | Until you clear your browser storage or change your choice | Champion MVP (first party) |
This value contains no name, email address, or tracking identifier. It is never sent to our servers or to anyone else. It is strictly necessary to honor the choice you made.
2.2 Server logs (not cookies)
Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes standard request data (IP address, browser type, page requested, referring page, and time) whenever any page loads. This is used only to deliver the Site, keep it secure, prevent abuse, and fix errors. Logs are kept for no more than 30 days. No cookie is involved.
2.3 Cookieless aggregate statistics (possible future use)
We may enable Vercel Web Analytics to count page visits in aggregate. It does not use cookies, does not use cross-site identifiers, and does not identify or follow individual visitors. If enabled, it would be used only to understand which pages work well and to support the operation of the Site. We will update this policy if we enable it.
3. Third-party content that loads only when you use it
3.1 YouTube videos (click to play)
Each video on our Site appears as a preview image with a play button. The image and button come from our own Site. Nothing is requested from YouTube until you press play.
If you chose "Essential only," pressing play first asks whether to load the video from YouTube; nothing loads unless you confirm. When the video loads, the player comes from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's privacy-enhanced embedding domain. From that point, Google may set cookies or use local storage and collect information from your device under Google's Privacy Policy and YouTube's Terms of Service. We do not control those technologies and receive no information from them. If you do not want YouTube to be contacted, do not press play.
3.2 Sponsor and partner booking calendar (LeadConnector)
Our sponsor and partner page, which is for adults only, includes a booking calendar provided by our CRM provider, HighLevel, Inc., under its LeadConnector name. The calendar is displayed in a frame from the provider's domain. When the calendar loads, the provider receives standard request data from your browser and may set storage that is necessary for the calendar to function (for example, to keep your selected time slot or protect the form against abuse). Information you type into the calendar is sent to our CRM account and handled under our Privacy Policy. The calendar does not appear on any children's content.
3.3 Google reCAPTCHA on the contact form
Our contact form, which is for adults only, uses Google reCAPTCHA to block spam and automated abuse. reCAPTCHA is not loaded on page load and never on children's content. It loads only when someone starts using the contact form. When it loads, Google receives hardware and software information, such as device and application data, and may set cookies on its own domains, to tell people from bots. Google uses this information under the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We receive only a pass or fail result (and, for some versions, a risk score). We treat reCAPTCHA as strictly necessary to keep the form secure. If you would rather not use it, email info@championmvp.com or call (970) 394-3339 instead.
3.4 Stripe checkout
When you buy merchandise or an audiobook, you are sent to Stripe's hosted checkout page. Stripe may set cookies on its own domain that are necessary to process the payment securely and prevent fraud. Those are governed by Stripe's privacy and cookie policies. Our Site does not load Stripe's scripts on children's content.
3.5 Links to Amazon and other sites
When you click a link to buy a book on Amazon, you leave our Site. Amazon may set cookies on its own site, including cookies that record that you arrived through our affiliate link so that we can earn a commission. No Amazon cookie is set on our Site. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
4. What we do not use
None of the following are on championmvp.com:
- Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or any Google advertising product (reCAPTCHA, described in Section 3.3, is a security tool, not an analytics or advertising product)
- Meta (Facebook or Instagram) pixel, TikTok, Snap, Pinterest, LinkedIn, or X pixels
- Any advertising network, ad exchange, retargeting tool, or ad technology
- Any data broker or data enrichment tag
- Session recording, heatmap, or mouse-tracking tools
- Fingerprinting or cross-device tracking
- Social media "like" or "share" buttons that load third-party code
5. Children
Our children's content uses no cookies or identifiers beyond what is described in Sections 2.1 and 2.2, and the YouTube player only after someone presses play. Our cookie pop-up manages embedded media for the adults who use the Site; it is not a way of obtaining consent from a child, and nothing on our children's content depends on it. We do not rely on a banner to make tracking acceptable. We have removed the tracking.
6. Your choices
- Cookie pop-up and Cookie Settings. On your first visit, choose "Allow embedded media" or "Essential only." Rejecting is as easy as accepting. You can reopen your choice at any time with the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of every page.
- Browser settings. You can delete the cookie choice value and block cookies and storage in your browser settings. If you do, the cookie pop-up will simply appear again. Blocking third-party storage may prevent the YouTube player or booking calendar from working; you can still contact us by email or phone.
- Global Privacy Control. We honor GPC and other recognized universal opt-out signals as a request to opt out of sale and targeted advertising. Because we do neither, every visitor is already opted out.
- Do Not Track. Our Site does not change its behavior in response to Do Not Track signals because there is no tracking for the signal to turn off.
7. Changes
We will update this policy before adding any new cookie, storage item, or third-party technology, and we will change the "Last updated" date. If we ever add a non-essential technology on adult pages, we will ask for your choice first, with rejecting as easy as accepting. We will not add advertising or behavioral tracking to children's content.
