Accessibility Statement
Effective date: November 1, 2026
Plain-language summary
- We want every family, teacher, and child to be able to use Champion MVP, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, captions, magnification, or other assistive technology.
- Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
- Some parts come from other companies (YouTube videos, the booking calendar, Stripe checkout, our game) and may not be fully accessible. We will always offer another way.
- If anything is hard to use, tell us at info@championmvp.com or (970) 394-3339 and we will help and fix it.
1. Our commitment
Sports Media, Inc. is committed to making championmvp.com usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability or technology. We design for children who are pre-readers, for parents and teachers with disabilities, and for classrooms that rely on assistive technology.
2. Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines cover making content perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.
3. What we have done
- Built the Site with semantic page structure, headings, and landmarks so screen readers can navigate it
- Written descriptive alternative text for meaningful images, including book covers and characters
- Designed for keyboard-only navigation with visible focus indicators
- Checked color contrast for text and controls
- Labeled every form field and provided clear error messages that do not rely on color alone
- Avoided content that flashes, and avoided autoplaying audio or video
- Made video previews keyboard-operable, with an accessible "Play" button label naming the episode
- Respected reduced-motion settings in your device preferences
- Made text resizable to 200 percent without loss of content
4. Known limitations and alternatives
- Videos. Our animated episodes play in YouTube's player. We are working to provide accurate captions for every episode and to review audio description needs. If you need a transcript of an episode, email us and we will provide one.
- Browser game. "Let's Play Baseball!" is an interactive game, and some game interactions may not be fully operable with a keyboard or screen reader. We are reviewing it and will describe accessible alternatives as they become available. Our books, audiobooks, and printables cover the same lessons.
- Booking calendar. The sponsor booking calendar is provided by a third party. If it does not work with your assistive technology, email Dan@ChampionMVP.com or call (970) 394-3339 and we will schedule with you directly.
- Checkout. Purchases use Stripe's hosted checkout. If you have trouble completing a purchase, contact us and we will help you complete the order another way.
- Printable PDFs. Coloring and puzzle pages are visual by nature. We are adding text descriptions and accessible tagging to PDFs where practical. Contact us if you need a specific page in another format.
- Phone line. Our phone line is answered by an automated AI assistant. If that does not work for you, email info@championmvp.com, or ask the assistant for a human callback.
- Audiobooks. Our audiobook editions are available for pre-readers and for anyone who prefers listening.
5. Third-party content
Some content on the Site is provided by third parties, including YouTube, LeadConnector (our booking calendar provider), Stripe, and Amazon. We choose providers with accessibility in mind, but we do not control their products. We will always offer an accessible alternative path, such as email or phone, for anything a third-party tool prevents you from doing.
6. For schools, districts, and public agencies
We can provide accessibility information for procurement reviews, including an Accessibility Conformance Report (based on the VPAT template) on request. Email info@championmvp.com with the subject line "Accessibility."
7. Feedback and requests
If you have trouble accessing any part of the Site, or need content in another format, please tell us. Include the page address and a description of the problem, and the assistive technology you use if you are comfortable sharing it.
- Email: info@championmvp.com (subject line "Accessibility")
- Telephone: (970) 394-3339
- Mail: Sports Media, Inc., Attn: Accessibility, 274 Mount Harvard Ave., Suite 350, Severance, CO 80550
We aim to respond within 2 business days and to provide the information or a workable alternative as quickly as possible.
8. Ongoing review
We test the Site with automated tools and manual keyboard and screen reader checks before major releases, and we review this statement at least once a year. This statement was last reviewed on November 1, 2026.
